    • How do I enroll my child in the nursery?

    To enroll your child in the nursery, go to the “Contact” section and fill in the form. We will contact you back as soon as possible.

     

    • How long does the accommodation process take?

    The process of accommodation at the nursery can take several months. During this period, the caregivers make sure that the child’s transition is pleasant and easy.

     

    • Does the nursery also operate during the holidays?

    The school year starts on 5.09.2022. The nursery and kindergarten operate during the holidays, with the exception of public holidays and the following intervals:

     

    – Christmas vacation 23.12.2022 – 04.01.2023 (including)

    – Easter holiday 14.04 – 23.04.2023

    – Summer vacation 14.08 – 31.08.2023

     

    • At what age can I enroll my child in the nursery?

    You can enroll your child in the nursery from the age of 18 months. The baby group accepts children between the ages of 18-36 months, who are guided by a teacher and an assistant teacher.

     

    • If my child is sick, can he come to the nursery?

    If the child is sick, it is not allowed to bring him to the nursery. For his and the other children’s safety, we strictly follow this rule.

     

    • Can my child bring toys with him?

    The child can take his favorite toy with him if it makes him feel more comfortable or helps him sleep better.

     

    • What will my child eat?

    The baby group has meals carefully made by a specialist nutritionist, with healthy food prepared by Mark Twain International School.

     

    • Can I visit the nursery before enrolling my child?

    You can visit the nursery before enrolling. Please complete the form on the website and request this when we contact you.

    • What are the hours of operation?

    The kindergarten operates between 8:00 and 18:00. The child will stay in kindergarten depending on the type of program you choose. Program types are displayed on the site.

     

    • Who looks after my child?

    A group has a number of 12 children. Each group is supervised by a specialized educator, whom you will meet when your child enrolls.

     

    • At what age can I enroll my child in kindergarten?

    You can enroll your child in kindergarten after he turns 3 years old. The groups are: Small group (3-4 years old), Middle Group (4-5 years old) and Large Group (5-6 years old).

     

    • Does the kindergarten have a playground for children?

    The kindergarten has 2 specially designed playgrounds in the inner courtyard. Children will also have access to basketball, soccer, handball and swimming pools during trips to MTIS.

     

    • Is a uniform required?

    All children have the same uniform set by the kindergarten management, which can be purchased after the child is enrolled.

     

    • What will my child eat?

    Children have meals carefully made by a specialist nutritionist, with healthy food prepared by Mark Twain International School.

     

    • What happens if my child gets sick?

    If your child is not feeling well, his condition will be assessed immediately at the kindergarten medical office, after which he will be required to go home.

     

    • What should my child take with him to kindergarten?

    Children must not bring teaching materials or other tools to kindergarten. All necessary materials are provided by Blue Lighthouse Academy.
